The covered procurement objectives at section 12 of the Procurement Act 2023 (Act) guide contracting authorities’ decision-making, assisting in the undertaking of effective and efficient public procurement with high standards of integrity, whilst at the same time recognising the importance of value for money and the need for contracting authorities to obtain the best value from procured goods, services and works.
