Reg. 108 (PCR 2015)

Publication of information on Contracts Finder about contracts awarded

In: Procure > Contract award and implementation

Overview

This regulation provides that contracting authorities must publish certain information on Contracts Finder when submitting a contract award notice to Find a Tender (known as the UK e-notification service) for publication, or when awarding a contract based on a framework agreement. This information includes the name of the contractor, the date of the contract, and the value of the contract. However, the contracting authority may withhold information from publication in certain circumstances, such as when it would impede law enforcement, harm commercial interests, or prejudice fair competition.

Contracting authorities must comply with these requirements within a reasonable time frame, taking into account guidance issued by the Minister for the Cabinet Office on how and when to publish the information. If guidance confirms that arrangements are in place for the automatic extraction and publication of information on Contracts Finder, following publication on Find a Tender, contracting authorities will be deemed to have complied by submitting the contract award notice to Find a Tender.
