Reg. 106 (PCR 2015)

Publication of information on Contracts Finder where contract notices are used

In: Procure > Finalise and publish procurement pack

Overview

This regulation provides that contracting authorities are required to publish information on Contracts Finder within 24 hours of submitting a contract notice to the UK e-notification service (referred to as Find a Tender) for publication. This information must include:

a) the internet address for the procurement documents

b) the deadline for interested suppliers to respond

c) how and to whom they should respond, and

d) any other requirements for participation in the procurement process.

Contracting authorities must also follow any guidance issued by the Minister for the Cabinet Office regarding the form and manner of publishing information on Contracts Finder.

If guidance requires the automatic extraction and publication of information on Contracts Finder following publication on Find a Tender, contracting authorities will be deemed to have complied by submitting the contract notice to Find a Tender.

Objective at this commercial stage

Within 24 hours of submitting a contract notice to Find a Tender, contracting authorities must publish the information required by this regulation (i.e. regulation 106) on Contracts Finder.

Key considerations at this commercial stage

Contracting authorities:

  • must ensure that all information required by this regulation is published on Contracts Finder within 24 hours of submitting a contract notice to Find a Tender
  • should ensure that relevant processes are in place to ensure compliance with the publication timeframes required by this regulation (i.e. regulation 106).
