Reg. 75 (PCR 2015)

Publication of notices

In: Define > Sourcing strategy

Overview

This regulation sets out the circumstances in which contracting authorities are required to publish a contract notice and a contract award notice in relation to public contracts awarded for the services referred to in regulation 74 (award of contract for social and other specific services) PCR 2015. The notices must be published on the Find a Tender service in accordance with the requirements of regulation 51 (publication on the UK e-notification service) PCR 2015.

Objective at this commercial stage

A contract notice is required where the subject matter of the procurement is covered by regulation 74 and where it is not possible to rely on the negotiated procedure without prior publication.

Key considerations at this commercial stage

Contracting authorities should:

  • ensure that a contract notice is prepared in accordance with this regulation (i.e. regulation 75), where the subject matter of the procurement is covered by regulation 74 and it is not possible to rely on the negotiated procedure without prior publication
  • ensure that all the information set out in part H of Annex 5 to the Public Contracts Directive (as amended) is included in the contract notice before it is published on Find a Tender.
