Specific exclusions in the field of electronic communications

Overview

This regulation provides that contracts that allow contracting authorities to provide or exploit public communications networks or electronic communications services are excluded from Part 2 PCR 2015.

Objective at this commercial stage

Contracts, where the principal purpose is to permit the contracting authority to provide or exploit public telecommunications networks or electronic communications networks, are excluded from Part 2 PCR.

Contracting authorities should:

  • consider whether the contract to be awarded is excluded from Part 2 PCR.
