Overview
The guidance documents are intended to provide technical guidance and help with interpretation and understanding of the Procurement Act 2023.
The guidance documents should be read in conjunction with the Procurement Act 2023 and its associated regulations and are aimed at procurement practitioners and commercial policy leads in contracting authorities. They are intended to provide technical guidance and help with interpretation and understanding of the Procurement Act 2023.
A contract details notice informs suppliers and the public that the contracting authority has entered into a contract. It provides key information about the contract that has been entered into.
Where the contracting authority has entered into a public contract with an estimated value of more than £5 million, the contract details notice:
- provides access to the contract (and therefore serves to fulfil the obligation in section 52(3) to publish the KPIs)
- where relevant, sets out the three key performance indicators (KPIs) that the contracting authority regards as most material to performance of the contract obligations at the time the contract details notice is published
Publication of the contract details notice takes place after any standstill period has ended and the contract has been entered into. The contract details notice is required to be published on the central digital platform.
