Overview

The Construction Playbook is best practice guidance on how the public sector should source and contract for public works projects and programmes. It focuses on how to get projects and programmes right from the start.

There are three other Commercial Playbooks that should be referred to when your procurement fits within their scope:

  • Sourcing Playbook
  • Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) Playbook
  • Consultancy Playbook

Make sure you:

  • read the relevant Commercial Playbook and any supporting Guidance Note(s)
  • seek legal and commercial advice in the context of specific procurements
